Overview

The Pregnancy During the Pandemic (PdP) study is a national longitudinal cohort launched in April 2020 to examine how COVID-19–related psychosocial, biological, and environmental stressors impacted the mental and physical health of pregnant Canadians and their infants.

Below is a quick overview of study variables. We encourage those who are interested in requesting access to PdP data to review the information below prior to submitting an inquiry.

If you're interested in working with us, please email pregnancy@ucalgary.ca with details about your project. We'll review your inquiry and get back to you within 48 hours.


Next Steps

After you have connected with the team to express interest in accessing the study data, a member of the research team will review and determine the fit of the research project. If approved, you will receive a Data Request Form by the team. You will be asked to provide a research proposal and specify:

  • Proposed research and statistical methodologies

Prior to data being transferred, the following will be required:
